Amazon’s Amit Agrawal Joins ioXt Alliance Board of Directors

Newport Beach, California – August 17, 2020 – The ioXt Alliance, the Global Standard for IoT Security, announces the appointment of Amit Agrawal, Principal Security Architect at Amazon for the Alexa Voice Service.  As part of the ioXt Alliance, Mr. Agrawal has been instrumental in shaping ioXt Alliance work towards creating the internet of secure things.

Amit Agrawal heads the security and privacy teams responsible for protecting Alexa enabled devices, including connected speakers, smart TVs, connected auto devices and services, hearables/wearables and smart home accessories. 

Prior to joining Amazon, Amit worked at Intel as a security subject matter expert advising top companies in critical infrastructure, service providers, industrial, energy, retail and healthcare vertical markets. He led architecture, engineering teams and developed security technology for several SoC/chipsets in past.
